The house is really coming along beautiful. The crumbling plaster is looking great. I have always wanted to live in the Munsters mansion. I love decaying grandeur. Your seem to have a lot of the things I seem to have trouble locating such as the rotary dial light switches and the intercom that was in the Munsters house. I have never been able to find one, but I was just curious as to what furnishings have you had to have specially made? The stand under the clock seems to be identical to the Munster's. I 'm also very interested in how you are, and plan to make the house appear more rundown. I just think the whole project is fantastic. I can only say thanks and I am jealous I didn't get to do it.

Welcome to the board and Thank you so much for those kind words. All the things you mentioned was made by a good friend of mine George from PA. We also had to have the sofa , coffee table, Drapes , the hands in the Dinning room on the sideboard and many others reproduced. . The house is a work in progress. I will always be distressing something. My next project is to get the coffin phone working. We are also building the Munster Koach. I want be finished until it is just like the Munster house in and out.
Thanks Sandra

It was truly a labor of love creating the distressing and 'crumbling' plaster look in the Munster Mansion. Having worked in set design and prop fabrication for over ten years I knew the moment I saw the Munster Mansion that I wanted to be involved and hope to continue to be involved as the 2008 Halloween season approaches. -Patterson
